美国有六个卫理宗派：卫斯理教会 (The Wesleyan Church)、公理会卫理教会 (Congregational Methodist Church)、自由卫理教会 (Free Methodist Church)、拿撒勒人教会 (Church of the Nazarene)、联合卫理教会 (The United Methodist Church)，和新成立的全球卫理教会 (Global Methodist Church)。

为了更美好地服务全国所有六个卫理宗派的华裔教牧和会友及华裔社区，我们决定创建現今新的非营利、宗教和慈善机构：美国卫理教会华裔协会 (National Chinese-American Caucus of Methodist Churches)。

我们声称圣经是信仰、道德、人类性别和婚姻的教义，以及社区关怀服务的主要衡量权威。我们仍然扎根于基督教悠久的信经和约翰卫斯理的传统和教义。

我们的主要宗旨是 (1) 向所有卫理教会和整个社区发出统一和官方的声音，(2) 以卫斯理基督教教育及训练项目培育信徒，(3) 为新建立的华语和英语教会提供资源，(4) 协调全国所有华裔卫理教会的事工，(5) 为华裔社区的事工，包括青年和年轻成年人的活动，提供资源。

ABOUT US

There are six Methodist denominations in the United States of America: The Wesleyan Church, Congregational Methodist Church, Free Methodist Church, Church of the Nazarene, The United Methodist Church, and the newly established Global Methodist Church.

To better serve the Chinese-American community of Methodist clergy and laity of all six of these Methodist Churches across the country, we have made the decision to create the current new non-profit, religious and charitable corporation, National Chinese-American Caucus of Methodist Churches. 

We profess that the Bible is the primary authority for faith, morals, teachings on human sexuality and marriage, and services to the community at large.  We remain rooted and grounded in the age-long creeds of Christianity and the historic tradition and doctrinal heritage of John Wesley.

Our primary purposes are (1) to present a united and official voice to the Methodist Churches and the community at large, (2) to nurture people with Wesleyan Christian education and training programs, (3) to resource new congregations of both Chinese languages and English, (4) to coordinate the ministries of all Chinese and Chinese-American Methodist Churches across the country, and (5) to resource the ministries of the ethnic Chinese community, including youth and young adult activities.
